The conflict mineral compliance is a regulation by the federal government in the United States under the act of” 2010 Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection”. The primary aim of this law is to protect the conflict resource from the conflict zones. There are many precious and unique minerals available in this world. One of the well-known conflict zones “Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)” where many armed groups, rebel groups, and celebrities exploit the province's mineral. The main conflict resources namely, tin, tungsten, tantalum, and gold come under the conflict mineral compliance. Thus, these elements are essential in manufacturing computers, smartphones, tablets, and many more. And, the conflict mineral compliance tries to prevent exploitation of the mineral resource and help the territory or the province to trade with them legally.
